There are now 32 days left to enter Cresta 2025. Whether you’re still uploading work or have already submitted, you can still polish and fine-tune your entries. You can edit and improve Cresta Awards submissions right up until entries close on July 20. Small adjustments can make a big difference. Cresta jurors spend time with each submission, but they also value clarity, context, and care in presentation. Submissions that show work in its best light, plays a vital role in how each entry is judged. Here are five quick tips to help every entry catch the attention of the jurors:
1. Check the basics. Have you uploaded everything correctly? Are all the campaign assets attached? Does your film play smoothly? Each year, simple oversights trip up entries. Take a moment to double-check.
2. Add helpful context. Have you taken the opportunity to add explanatory material? Judges don’t want a deluge of notes but sometimes a background point or two really helps an entry be best appreciated.
3. Mind the language gaps. Judging is conducted in English. If something crucial doesn’t translate well, add a brief note to explain it.
4. Make strategic choices. Is your best work in the most relevant category? Great entries often succeed because of smart placement or by entering across multiple categories.
5. Credit your team properly. Finally, are all the right credits there and are names spelled correctly, roles identified? This is not one for the judges to bother about (they don’t see these details) but you don’t want to have your teammates looking at you with a pained expression.
