The D&AD Next Awards have opened for entries for the third year.
Entries are open until the February 22 2017 and entry prices start from just £25 (AU$41).
Submissions may be made directly on the D&AD website, there is no age limit for entrants and any genre of work can be submitted.

ABOUT THE NEXT AWARDS
The D&AD Next Awards aims to find the next big names in film and photography and promote them back to the industry, through mentoring introductions to established industry peoPle. This year again, Next Photographer be held in partnership with Getty Images and will offer the winner a $5000 prize grant amongst other opportunities.

ABOUT THE WINNERS
- Last year’s Next Director Award winner was BAFTA-winner, Daisy Jacobs, with her short animated film The Bigger Picture. The British animation director uses stop-motion and painted animation to create her life-size characters.

- Next Photographer 2016 (in partnership with Getty Images) was won by Tam Hoi Ying, a Hong Kong-Chinese photographer. She uses photos to raise awareness of the human rights situation in China with her visual stories.

Winners take home a D&AD Next Awards Pencil. They, and all shortlisted entrants, will earn a place in the D&AD Annual 2017.
