Darren Spiller has left McCann Sydney, where he was chief creative officer for just eight months. Spiller joined McCann in April, after executive creative director, Jerker Fagerstrom, made the decision to return home to Sweden.
He had been Host/Havas Australia’s first chief creative officer until August 2018 and before that chief creative officer of DDB Melbourne from February 2015 to October 2016 after joiningh the agency in 2012 as executive creative director. He was chief creative officer of Fallon USA from June 2009 to June 2012.
Spiller has won all the international awards associated with three top creative positions and was featured in Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives for 2018.
