Lotto NZ wants kids to include a Triple Dip ticket for mum in their Mother’s Day celebrations this year.
“We often take for granted all that our mums do for us and we don’t say thank you enough. So, this Mother’s Day we’re encouraging Kiwis to celebrate mum and give back a little Lotto magic with a Triple Dip ticket,” noted DDB executive creative director, Shane Bradnick.
To help that along, DDB and The Sweet Shop are reminding kids of the magic things mums make happen for them. With a little “magic” of their own.
The Sweet Shop director, Dylan Pharazyn, who directed the film, explained, “I loved the idea of mum’s magic in this script. The realism we used brings to life the transformation of messy to tidy, just as a child might imagine. It’s a warm and genuine thanks to mums for all the work they do that goes unnoticed.”
The 30 second spot fits into the ongoing theme of Lotto NZ advertising by DDB and The Sweet Shop.
“Lotto NZ has produced a range of ads with a consistent thread – Kiwi family tales about love and generosity. We didn’t see why this piece, even though retail-focused, couldn’t share some of that same warmth,” Lotto NZ chief marketing officer, Guy Cousins, commented.
