…and the 2014 Eat Drink Design Awards, Award for Best Identity Design, is open for entries until July 25.
The AGDA Design Awards only come around every two years. 2014 may well be your year.
They have been Australia’s barometer for creative excellence since 1992 and have grown and changed, like AGDA itself, as the industry has.
This year, the awards have been given a thorough shakeup to be more relevant to work in today’s environment. There are new categories, streamlined entry process, a standalone website for entry submissions that will also be used for judging and as a gallery of finalists, and a new award – Design for Good.
Finally, for the first time ever (yay), there are trophies for the major awards.
And, (again, yay for those whose work is outstanding) the Pinnacle Award classification has been retained to acknowledge truly remarkable work.
There is an entry fee of $150 per entry or $100 per entry for AGDA members. Late entries will be charged a $10 late fee per entry until 5pm, August 9.
Judging occurs September 5-7. Finalists are announced on Wednesday October 1. Awards Night is Saturday November 15
