Easee is an electric vehicle charger brand launched in Stavanger, Norway in 2018. At the end of August, Elon Musk is attending the 2022 ONS conference in Stavanger, one of the world’s most important oil, gas and energy conferences. Easee has invited Musk to visit for a coffee with a Twitter campaign because, according to Easee, “What’s the harm in trying? It’s probably easier than deciding what to pack for the long trip to Mars.” And when you’re an electric vehicle charger company, who knows what can come of connecting with Musk?
Musk is reputed to have quite an ego so the invitation is housed in a humorous video by Easee founder, Jonas Helmikstøl, about the town’s – and the Easee founders’ – obsession with Musk.
