Cannes Lions 2018 is open for entries. A late fee will kick in after March 22. An increased late fee after April 12. The final deadline is April 22.
Eligible work aired, launched or was released to the public for the first time between March 1 2017 and April 30 2018. There are some exceptions:
• If your campaign began before March 1 2017, a minimum of 2/3 of the campaign run must fall within the eligibility period
• If your campaign ran over two or more years, you will need to provide proof of the campaign’s evolution from year to year (Cannes Lions will determine its eligibility)
• if you are entering a Campaign of Executions (eg for Print & Publishing, Outdoor, Film, Film Craft, Industry Craft, and Radio & Audio entries), the whole campaign must fall within the eligibility period
• If you are entering the continuation of a campaign that aired before March 1 2017, you must clearly show how the campaign has progressed (Cannes Lions will determine its eligibility).
Creative Effectiveness work is eligible if it won or was shortlisted at Cannes Lions in 2015, 2016 or 2017. The same piece of work cannot be submitted into the same Lion in consecutive years. If eligibility dates are met, though, you may enter the work into an alternative Lion.
