There are so many advertising awards, but only one global creative prize awarded by journalists. Epica launched 31 years ago, now attracts thousands of entries from more than 70 countries and since its relaunch in 2012, when it went international for the first time, its winners have been taken into account by most major annual rankings of creativity worldwide, as well as rankings published by individual trade magazines.
The Epica Awards is taking its reel of winning work on tour over the coming months in a series of networking events. The showcase visited London on January 31, with a soirée at production company GCRS. It will be in New York on February 27, at Weworks, and Milan on February 23 at the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema.
Dates and venues will shortly be announced for Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, Moscow and Stockholm.
In September, Bloomsbury in London will publish The Epica Book, a glossy coffee table tome containing interviews by major journalists with the world’s creative leaders, plus details of all the winners and selected high-scoring entries.
