BuzzBallz are pre-mixed cocktails by parent, Sazerac, in a ball-shaped can. If the product doesn’t suggest the target market, the product name does.
Erich & Kallman and Sazerac’s in-house agency, The Shop, have packaged up all the things that target market loves with the brand’s provocative personality and signature humour to create a campaign about Streaking Steve. Streaking Steve is venting his old man fury at the brand for stealing his thunder. The “legendary” on-field streaker’s balls don’t get attention anymore. Ballballz’ new flavours do.

The Streaking Steve idea began in 2023. Actor and comedian, Blake Anderson, most known for writing and starring in Comedy Central’s Workaholics TV show, came to the agencies’ attention by mentioning the brand frequently on This is Important, his podcast with other Workaholics stars.
That led to a collaboration and a humorous campaign in 2024, shot, written, directed, and produced by Los Angeles production company, Bacon & Eggs Media. The three videos features Anderson enjoying a BuzzBallz and getting asked, “Why are they round?” Anderson explains his theories, each with an acted-out flashback.
The new campaign is running across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube in 6-, 15-, and 30-second versions, coinciding with the launch of eight limited-edition country-inspired flavours bonding the brand to the World Cup.
