Peter Galmes has been appointed chief creative strategist of Herd MSL ANZ (Australia & New Zealand). His job will be to grow and strengthening Herd MSL’s capabilities across social and content, and building an offering that shapes how brands are perceived in culture.
Galmes brings with him over 20 years of experience in social, influencer, digital, earned and experiential marketing. That experience includes positions as an agency creative, including digital creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi, creative director at Whybin TBWA/DAN/Eleven PR and creative partner at DDB Group Australia. He was creative director at We Are Social for two-and-a-half years, social director at Revolver/Will O’Rourke, and most recently led POLY oOh! Media’s content and creative innovation hub, opening new avenues for commercial creativity.
His work has been applauded by Cannes Lions and The Webby Awards, D&AD and The One Show. Notable examples include Samsung Global #TeamGalaxy, MILO Hot vs. Cold, KFCookin, Queer Eye – YASS, Bright – Calling all Wills and The Sydney Opera House #ComeOn.
