In November last year, Grey creative chairman, Adrian Rossi, left after less than a year in the job. He had previously been joint executive creative director at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO for seven and a half years. A month ago, he got together with Domino’s ex-chief marketing officer, Emily Somers (who left after seven months), to launch The Constellation Collective, which they call “a micro-network of independent digitalists, innovators, creators, technologists and strategists” and also, “an assembly of stars”. Somers had previously been vice-president of marketing and food development at McDonald’s Uk fro three years.
The new company offers digital, tech, data, marketing and communications, creative production and media services to national and international clients, as well as financial strategy, management, succession and exit planning support.
Rossi is creative partner; Somers is client and marketing partner. The collective also includes David Pugh-Jones, as brand and strategy partner; founder and managing partner, Simon Thurston as, whose byline reads, “Helping the owners of digital, creative and tech businesses to thrive in these uncertain times,” and finance partner, Richard Adams.
