In 2022, 25 years of Pringles famous slogan, Once You Pop, You Can’t Stop, was shelved for Mind Popping, developed over two years by Grey to underline the idea that Pringles will “blow your mind”. The slogan, Get Stuck In, was also used that year – in the brand’s Super Bowl commercial, featuring people getting their hands stuck in the can. But the ‘90s slogan is back, care of FCB New York, with a tiny tweak.
Once You Pop, The Pop Don’t Stop has been launched with an absurd film (especially for Gen Z), directed by Thomas Ormonde, that highlights the unexpected fun that can happen when you open a can of Pringles.
The slogan revival begins a new era of humorous work by FCB New York for Pringles that will play into the kind of absurd content that often goes viral on social media. FCB took over from Grey as the brand’s creative agency last year. Grey had held the account for 27 years.
