Electrolux gets to be the spirit of Christmas sharing and goodwill, thanks to F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi creativity.
This is how that happened:
What about people who work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? Don’t they deserve to share the joys of Christmas? Electrolux and F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi thought so.
So on Christmas Eve, they took a little bit of Christmas tradition to workplaces like the Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente [AACD Hospital] Sao Paulo.
Employees of the AACD Hospital, firefighters, security guards, and employees of service stations received a visit from a food truck aglow with Christmas lights, in the early hours of the 25th. The bigger surprise was the gift of a chef-prepared Christmas dinner that they could share the true spirit of Christmas with friends and co-workers.
Theo Rocha, creative director of F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, commented, “The idea is simple: gather people who were in the same situation around a special moment.”
The campaign also demonstrated the “spirit of sharing good times and union” with which Electrolux wants to engage consumers through 2015.
This Christmas Eve event is to be the first of a series sponsored by Electrolux with the objective of promoting experiences that blend sharing, friendship, good times and gastronomy.
