The 2023 Gerety Awards jury have awarded 4 Grand Prix, 27 Gold, 69 Silver, 65 Bronze, with 159 entries remaining on the shortlist. Winners came from 34 countries.
The campaigns taking home the Grand Prix represent creativity at its best for big world issues like climate change, refugees and immigration, diversity but also humour, a cherished and missed trait in the industry today.

The Monkeys’ The First Digital Nation for The Government of Tuvalu has won the Grand Prix for Alternative media in the Innovation Cut. It also won Gold in the Work for Good Cut.
Other Australian winners include:
- VMLY&R, Fitchix for Honest Eggs Co., Gold in Innovation Cut
- Truce Films, Through their Eyes campaign for Maybelline, Silver in Work for Good Cut (Creative agency, Hero)
- Bullfrog, All Or Something for AIA Australia, Bronze in the Health Cut.
UK winners: Night Creatures for Burberry by Riff Raff films won a Silver in the Craft Cut.
A Flammable Planet for WWF by NOMINT won 1 Silver and 2 Bronze also in the Craft Cut.
McCann Manchester’s OOO for Aldi UK won Bronze in the Humour Cut.
UK winners include McCann London, Uncommon Creative Studio, FCB Inferno, Stein IAS, adam&eveDDB and VMLY&R.
US winners: See My Skin, Vaseline Healing Jelly for Unilever by Edelman and Apologize the Rainbow for Skittles by DDB Chicago won Grands Prix.
The US had the largest list of individual agency winners – Commonwealth McCann, MRM New York, VMLY&R, Upwork, Tool of NA, BBDO New York, 72andSunny, McCann New York, Dentsu Creative, Energy BBDO, Observatory, Yessian Music, Final Cut, Wieden+Kennedy and Ogilvy Health NA.

Globally, the most awarded work is THE GLITCH for Alzheimer Forschung Initiative by BBDO Germany, winning 3 Gold, 3 Silver and a Bronze.
The second most awarded piece of work is Apologize the Rainbow for Skittles by DDB Chicago winning 1 Grand Prix, 2 Gold, and a Silver.
Shout for Movistar by VMLY&R Mexico is the third most awarded piece of work picking up 1 Gold, 4 Silvers and a Bronze.
The most awarded brand in the world at the 2023 Gerety Awards is McDonald’s.
