The Gerety Awards most recent executive jury session has officially concluded in Madrid. It brought together leading creative voices from across the industry to review and discuss some of the strongest campaigns entered into the 2026 competition.
The global in-person executive jury sessions play a key role in shaping the shortlist. This year, more than 260 judges from over 50 countries are participating across 15 jury locations worldwide, reflecting the Gerety Awards’ unique perspective and commitment to evaluating work through a powerful lens.
The Gerety Awards executive jury in Madrid was led by Alejandra Chacón, head of strategy and insights at Havas Media Network, with a jury of creative leaders from across the region.
“The Gerety Awards judging process has been an exercise in discernment, rigour, and honesty – qualities that, while they may seem obvious in a jury, can actually be quite rare. Thank you to the Gerety Awards for creating a space where professionalism is the only thing that matters,” Chacón commented.
The Gerety Awards shortlist will be announced on June 16, followed by a series of live Jury Insights Panels featuring members of the executive juries discussing standout trends, themes emerging from the judging rooms, and what defines creative excellence in 2026.
The highest-scoring shortlisted campaigns will also be featured in the Gerety Shortlist Reel, a curated showcase shared with agencies, production companies, brands, and creative leaders around the world during shortlist week.
To celebrate the announcement of the shortlist, Gerety Awards will once again host its VIP BBQ gathering during Cannes, bringing together judges, entrants, partners, and friends of the awards for an evening celebrating the work shaping the industry this year.
