You may not have needed Google Search Trends data to know that Love Actually is the most searched Christmas film in UK history. And you can probably recognise its key scenes. Google is hoping that you can. But whether you do or not, its social film, featuring Love Actually stars, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who played lovestruck Sam in the film, Martine McCutcheon, who played Natalie, the prime minister’s secret crush, and some of the film’s most famous scenes, has just the right kind of humour and warmth to entertain gloriously – while it shows you the cinematic capabilities of the Google Pixel 10, with Pro Res Zoom tech.

The campaign, It’s a Pixel, actually, developed with WPP Media Future Group and Universal Products & Experiences, plays with some of Love Actually’s most memorable moments – including the school concert’s drum solo and the lobster costume scene.
The social campaign will run across social, digital and SVOD in the UK and US. A long-form film and different cutdown assets will be supported by PR, social, and influencer activations throughout late November and December.
