It’s Pringles season. Well, technically it’s the Christmas holiday season and it’s World Cup season. Pringles has made this mash-up its own, with a vibrantly enthusiastic anthem by Grey London in which Christmas and football collide.
The TVC, set to a Pringles take of Carol of the Bells, spurs excitement for the collision of football and festivities, with wild visuals including a snowman’s head hitting the back of the net, football baubles and Santa holding an air horn.
The 20-second film, with its bold announcement, It’s Pringles season, reminds people that Pringles role is one of the most popular sharing snacks for celebration moments.
Aisling O’Hara, Pringles European marketing manager, stated, “Pringles is synonymous with celebrations, from Christmas to NYE and watching the football with friends. This is no ordinary winter, as we experience two of the biggest celebratory events in just one season. Our new advert highlights these moments and demonstrate that Pringles is the perfect snack for any occasion.”


Pringles has also brought back its popular Christmas can designs, this year adding limited-edition cans with its new-look Mr P. The limited-edition cans feature snowmen, penguins, Santa and elves, are in UK stores now (in limited numbers. Be quick or miss out).
The TVC will air until December 31 across the UK.
