Home delivery for online purchase seemed to restore precious time to people. But did it? It has become more and more a barrier to freedom in Portugal, forcing many to reorganise their day around delivery time windows. It has caused postponed plans, declined invitations, and remote workdays scheduled around avoiding a missed delivery.
The House Arrest campaign by Havas Portugal and Locky, Portugal’s largest smart locker network, promises to give people back their freedom.

The campaign brings the feeling of “imprisonment” to life through portraits of people photographed behind windows resembling prison bars. It also makes a purely functional logistics solution human, addressing a widespread consumer frustration. The brand gives people back control over their time – the parcel waits for the person, not the other way around.
