The Vienna Tourist Board that put Vienna’s famous artworks on the OnlyFans website is now offering people a chat with Sigmund Freud. Both campaigns came from Jung von Matt Donau. The agency worked with Vienna’s Sigmund Freud Museum to create a Freud avatar and establish him in Decentraland in a campaign called Get Me Out, Freud.
Chat with him and you could win you a trip to Vienna. The idea behind the campaign is that a visit to the real Vienna is “a healthy approach to wellness”. Of course, chatting with avatar Freud is not to be considered therapy.

Freud appears at the virtual platform Genesis Plaza of Decentraland, every Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm BST (sadly that’s 2am – 4am in Sydney) until April 29. There are 10 free trips to Vienna on offer and 100 free entries into the Sigmund Freud Museum. People can also register on the campaign website to chat with Freud.

“The stunt is designed to allow us all to take a breather, if you will, that this generation of hype-seekers and Instagram travellers is lacking. We want to bring real, physical enjoyment back,” stated Norbert Kettner, the director of the Vienna Tourist Board. “Connecting to a place through real travel experiences is an important path towards that, even if we are soliciting the help of a virtual platform.”
