In August last year, with Covid’s stay safe rules making touching problematic, KFC suspended its slogan, It’s finger lickin’ good.
The UK and Ireland have been living with Covid restrictions for a very long time. KFC decided it was time to lift people’s spirits with a little fun. So it has begun borrowing other brands’ slogans.
That fun began on Twitter on Thursday, March 25, when KFC UK & Ireland invited people to suggest which brands’ slogans it should use, with the hashtag, #UntilWeCanFingerlickAgain.


You might notice thar Specsavers was quick to put its own forward. KFC generously obliged:

KFC has been responding with mock ads on Twitter and on a London advan.

Some of the slogans include I’m lovin’ it, Just do it and the hilariously apt, Gives you wings.
KFC’s response to Aldi’s invitation is particularly cheeky.
