PayPal+ has enlisted drawcard (and long-standing brand ambassador), Will Ferrell, his mini me and his OTT exuberance to turn a product features campaign into something people will actually watch. Inspired by the classic angel‑and‑devil dynamic, Ferrell takes on multiple humorous roles, dramatising the contrast between mindless payment decisions and the smarter choice of paying with PayPal.
The campaign, supporting the brand’s free rewards program, is by Leo Constellation, the creative network, part of Publicis Groupe, managed by Global CCO Marco Venturelli, and launched in the UK ahead of a broader global rollout. It was created by agency teams in London and the US and positions PayPal not only as a secure way to pay, but as a smart and rewarding payment choice.
The full campaign covers TV, digital films, out‑of‑home, social assets and targeted CRM.
