Pet care platform, Rover, and creative agency, Little Hands of Stone, have inserted freshness into pet advertising with a fully animated campaign, To My Hooman, told entirely from an endearing pets’ perspective (using endearingly pet-spelling) and reaches out to other pets. The campaign that’s narrated by pets for a pet audience encourages pets to let their hoomans know that it’s OK to do hooman things without worrying while they’re away. It is backed by knowledge that leaving pets makes pet owners worry and responds to the recent surge in pet ownership.
The campaign promotes Rover sitters who understand what classifies as pet fun and the significance of a pets’ routine, that might include a pre-bed butt scratch and a snuggle, and the Rover app. It is directed by animation director, Sitji Chou from production company, Giant Ant, and includes 11 videos, led by a 90-second anthem spot in which hero dog, Rooster, imagines sending loving signs to his vacationing hooman to let her know that he’s all good. Each film is also accompanied by the tug-at-the-heartstrings sounds of a small children’s choir.
