Lucky Generals has been appointed by FMCG giant, Upfield, to handle a number of its plant-based butter brands across Europe, including Flora and Rama. The agency was appointed to the business without a pitch.
Upfield is the world’s largest plant-based consumer goods company, with 15 brands across 95 countries. Lucky Generals has been appointed to build brand platforms for a number of its key products across Europe. The appointment follows Upfield’s recent appointment of Jorn Socquet to the role of global chief marketing officer.
Nik Upton, the chief operating officer at Lucky Generals, stated, “This is a fantastic opportunity to stretch our strategic and creative muscles across the continent on recognisable household names and spread the love for the likes of Flora far and wide.”
Jorn Socquet added, “Luckies has a brilliant pedigree of creating successful brand platforms and brilliant work that deliver not only sales, but also brand growth and fame. Which made it an easy decision to bring them on board.”
