Mandy Wong has moved up from the role of president, TBWA\Group Singapore that she began in 2022. The promotion recognises Wong’s long-standing contribution to the agency, as well as her leadership in driving sustained growth, creative excellence and stability during a period of global transformation across the industry, including the broader realignment within Omnicom.
In Singapore, the creative portfolio will be streamlined into two networks, TBWA and McCann. As part of this alignment, talent from DDB will integrate into TBWA\Group Singapore under Wong’s leadership, joining TBWA and BBDO within the group. This enhances TBWA\Group Singapore’s creative capabilities and talent depth, positioning the group for continued growth in the market.
Over the past three years in her role as president of TBWA\Group Singapore, Wong has accelerated the agency’s growth, securing key new business wins including Mandai Wildlife Group and the Health Promotion Board, while strengthening relationships with long-term clients such as Singapore Airlines and Spotify. As chief executive officer, she will oversee TBWA\Group Singapore’s overall business strategy and operations, while continuing to champion TBWA’s Disruption philosophy across strategy, creativity, innovation and client-business impact.
Sean Donovan, president of Omnicom Advertising Asia, stated, “Mandy has been instrumental in shaping TBWA\Singapore into the agency it is today. Her leadership, clarity of vision, and deep understanding of both our clients and our people make her the right person to lead the agency into its next chapter.”
Wong added, “It’s a privilege to step into the role of CEO at a time when our industry is undergoing fundamental change. My focus is on leading with intention, strengthening collaboration across the group, supporting our people through transition, and ensuring we continue to deliver work that is both relevant and meaningful for our clients.”
