Mortierbrigade is making Belgian music artist, Chance [aka, Antoine Geluck], a legend. So far the artist isn’t quite legendary. Only a thousand people have listened to his last album. His last Instagram post received just sixteen likes.
But Chance has just been on a legendary tour. A tour in which he can say he has played at the world’s most legendary venues – Wembley, Paradiso, Olympia, Madison Square, Le Zenith…
The tour is a hoax. But Chance did, in fact, play at Wembley, Paradiso, Olympia etc. How is revealed in the social post the agency made for him. (It’s brilliant.)
Antoine Geluck explained, “I came up with the idea while talking to a friend, who’s a creative at mortierbrigade. What if we organised a real tour to all these mythical venues? So, we started looking for Belgian pubs named after major concert venues and announced our tour. This marked the birth of The Legendary Tour.”
“This fake tour shows us that, in today’s world, some extra creativity is needed if you want to make a name for yourself,” mortierbrigade added.
The Legendary Tour was supported by the PIAS label.
