KFC’s Tower Burger is taaaaaall and Mother has created an eye-catching campaign that makes that point very clearly. The TVC begins with a warning that the chicken stack is too tall for TV followed by an extreme close-up of the burger – that then rotates to fit sideways.

In OOH, the burger bursts out of its billboard and lies on its side to emphasise its vertical grandeur.
“With this latest campaign, we’re heroing our ‘vertically gifted’ Tower Burger, a burger so unique we had to completely rethink our approach to traditional advertising just to make it fit,” stated Phoebe Syms, brand manager at KFC. “It was a tall order, but from all-new out-of-home special builds to head-turning horizontal ads, we’ve done our Towers justice, showing that there’s one burger that rules the roost, standing head, shoulders and hash browns above the rest.”

In social media, including the Blackpool Tower, ‘regular towers’ will be given a makeover.
