Omnicom specialist agency, Nissan Unlimited, turns hyperbole up to max in its launch campaign for the Nissan LEAF – presenting the car with all the suspense of a classic close encounter with advanced intelligence from beyond Earth.
The idea is that the car is advanced intelligence. But created here on Earth.
The hero film, produced by Wanda and directed by Dorian & Daniel, is just the beginning. The campaign expands into a broader platform that includes Smart Stories – a series of expert-led content films highlighting the vehicle’s key technologies. Alongside these, Nissan is launching a social ecosystem built around the hero narrative, with additional content tailored for Meta to build intrigue around this new intelligence on the road.


The launch invites the world to Encounter the Next Electric Intelligence, a reminder that extraordinary technology doesn’t always come from the stars.
