The reputation of agency life has taken a battering in the last few years, but life at Ogilvy appears to be bucking the trend. Ogilvy Australia has been recognised as an Employer of Choice at The Australian Business Awards for the fourth consecutive year.
The Australian Business Awards (ABA) recognise organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of comprehensive award categories. The Award for Employer of Choice applauds those that are developing leading workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through their policies and practices. These have to demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.
Dave Sayer, chief operations officer, Ogilvy Australia, stated, “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as an employer of choice for the fourth consecutive year. We know that talent is the cornerstone of our success as an agency, and for the success of our client’s businesses too. This award is not only a testament to our people, but also our leadership and HR team who prioritise building a great culture and investing in our hugely talented people here at Ogilvy. I am honoured to be a part of such an incredible team.”
Entrant organisations are required to demonstrate their achievements across the key areas of organisational culture; leadership & strategy; employee education, training & development; employee health, safety & satisfaction; performance management; recognition & remuneration.
