I’ll have what they’re having. It’s such a human desire. And it’s the idea behind Ogilvy’s campaign for the Chicago International Film Festival (CIFF) 2026, that begins on October 14.
Cinema in Real Life presents the thrill of CIFF through the eyes (and emotions) of moviegoers, and the feeling when an audience experiences those emotions together.
The campaign includes a trailer, narrated by Helen Mirrin, who was the recipient of the CIFF Gold Hugo Award in 2017. Her voice enthrals with its description of the moviegoing experience. That trailer will debut on opening night.
Meanwhile in OOH, spreading across Chicago, posters shot by Chicago photographer, Sandro Miller, capture the joy, tension, wonder, and disbelief in ECUs of moviegoers’ faces, underlined by powerfully succinct messages and captions that connect the expression to the film that triggered it.
