The Coca-Cola has launched a new soft drink in Thailand with an unknown flavour (a combination of two surprising new flavours). And a bizarre name. Agency, Ogilvy Singapore WPP Open X was given the job of making a noise for yet another new drink plonked into an ocean of competitors,
But the soft drink’s name gave the agency a brilliant idea and together with Golden Wolf and Stink, it made that idea pop.
“We made the brand famous, by making the brand name famous,” Golden Wolf noted.
The series of short films feature the visceral feeling of drinking OOHA for the first time. In each film pink ninjas, thirsty gibbons, giant monsters, owls cowboys, or tennis champs, go OOOOOOHAAAAA, turning the brand name into an ear-worm. An endless meme. An audio gif. That thing stuck in your head.
