Arnold Schwarzenegger has just released a self-help book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. Given the man’s successful life history, from body-builder to Hollywood star to governor of California, not to mention his huge fan following, the book is likely to sell well. But Schwarzenegger and publisher, Penguin Press, were not going to let that run on chance.
So agency, Orchard Creative, created a brilliant stunt for The Terminator. He became an AI.

On September 29, the agency set up an AI booth at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California. Visitors could stop in the booth to seek advice from the AI Arnold. And they did – asking all sorts of questions of him from becoming a bodybuilder to being a parent.
Ultimately the stunt was revealed. The AI voice approximation was, in fact, Arnold’s. The AI wisdom was in fact, Arnold’s. The AI in the booth was, in fact, Arnold himself.

Certainly beats the usual speech and book signing, doesn’t it?
