An awards program that puts the people who bring creative ideas to life in the spotlight. It’s about time. Production Awards was begun last year and it applauds work from directors, producers, technologists, artists and content creators at production and post-production companies.
“Production and post-production companies are pushing the boundaries of craft and technology in commercial advertising, film and content,” noted Dylan Swanepoel, chief executive officer, Production Awards.
“They are the ones responsible for taking a good idea and making it great, or taking a great idea and turning it into a best-in-show. Ad agencies tend to get most of the credit and awards for great work, but we’re going to change that.”
The new awards program is open for entries with a deadline of August 10. There’s an early bird discount until August 3 and there will be an extended deadline of one week, but a late fee will apply.
To be eligible, work must have aired between January 31, 2017 and July 31, 2018. Please note that director’s cuts are not eligible. Enter here.
