Pasta has been reborn again in Publicis Italy’s campaign for Barilla Al Bronzo, a pasta made by a raw processing method for intense flavour. The news is being shared across nine countries, Italy, France, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, and Sweden, with a “Big Bang” commercial (which looks like a very beautiful water ballet) underscored by the evocative Flower Duet, the famous duet from the opera, Lakmé by Léo.
The new campaign – and the new product – coincide with Barilla’s 145th birthday. Behind it is the idea that the taste of the new pasta will be like trying pasta for the first time. The film was directed by French director, Philippe André, produced by BRW Filmland and shot in Milan. It is running on TV and digital in 15-, 30- and 60-second formats, supported by OOH and PoS.
