Feel the anguish of going through a tough spell and the relief of coming out the other side. Revolver director, Dani Pearce, knows how to hold a heart in her hands. The TVC, The Wait, launches NRMA’s Small Business Insurance campaign by The Monkeys. It’s the story of an architect who has everything riding on his most recent new business pitch when an unexpected setback hits. Even if hundreds of small businesses weren’t recovering from Covid’s side effects right now, it would still hit a bull’s-eye.
Small businesses often run lean so the smallest of knockbacks can be challenging to recover from. With much of the country re-emerging from Covid-19 lockdowns, many small businesses are fragile but hungrier than ever. The film catches the mood of the moment perfectly, subtly weaving in the importance of small business insurance with an expert hand.
