As the company responsible for 95% of France’s grid, Enedis wanted to show that it protects the millions of migratory birds that pass through France each year and who risk running into one of its power lines. In fact, for over 30 years, Enedis has been working to protect birds, and especially vulnerable species such as the white storks, from the dangers posed by power lines.
Rosa Paris and Enedis have produced Life Corridors, a 17-minute documentary, that tells the story of Enedis’s long-stanging collaboration with associations such as the French Birds Protection League, the French National Museum of Natural History, and wildlife conservation organisations such as ACROLA, as well as teams of data analysts, electrical engineers geomatics specialists, CSR managers, all with the shared conviction that humanity has a responsibility to animals. The poetic film shows the team’s efforts such as the installation of 30,000 bird protection devices and working to move power lines underground, and is available to French audiences through streaming platforms including Prime Video.
The film was produced by Phantasm and directed by Vanessa Joo Dumont and Nicolas Davenel (NDVD), offering a moving and poetic perspective on humanity’s responsibility towards the animal world, through the eyes of a multidisciplinary filmmaking duo.
To support the launch, Enedis, Havas Media France, Havas Play and FranceTV Publicité are rolling out a full media, branded content and influencer campaign designed to raise awareness of the documentary and extend its reach across different audiences.
The film that launched on October 14 will benefit from premium exposure on Prime Video and France.tv, available across all devices, as well as prominent editorial placement in the environmental documentary selection. The campaign will also be amplified through branded content partnerships with Le Média Positif and Avre, leading media outlets covering environmental issues and innovation. These collaborations will provide an opportunity to explore biodiversity challenges and the solutions implemented by Enedis in greater depth.
Two purpose-driven content creators, The Impact Story and Léa Camilleri, will also bring the story to their respective audiences. Finally, a paid digital and social media campaign will sustain the documentary’s visibility over time.
Overall, the media campaign aims to generate nearly 85 million audience contacts and establish the protection of biodiversity and wildlife as a lasting topic of public conversation.
