Sedona, the production company known for its exceptional level of craft, has opened a Melbourne office. Managing director, Kim Wildenburg, has chosen Cinnamon Darvall as executive producer. Darvall joins from McCann Australia, where she was national head of broadcast and brings with her twenty-five years of experience and a host of industry awards.
At McCann for four years, Darvall worked on blue chip brands such as Microsoft, Federal Government, eBay, GSK (Centrum), WorkSafe, Sustainability Victoria, Maybelline, L’Oréal, Mastercard, Melbourne University FFAM and Toyota (for HERO). She also produced the spectacularly successful Dumb Ways to Die (the most awarded campaign in Cannes’ history). Prior to that Darvall spent six years as head of broadcast at Leo Burnett.
Sedona managing director, Kim Wildenburg, says she is drawn to Darvall’s curiosity for uncovering a range of creative talent in the industry along with her keen eye for selecting the best people and skillsets for each project. “Cinnamon is passionate about every element of production, working seamlessly with all parties on projects to achieve creative excellence,” she notes.
“Cinnamon is so well esteemed in the industry, and we have formed such a great friendship over the years both professionally and personally. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working alongside such a respected producer. Her constant drive for pushing creative boundaries, combined with both her advertising and production experience will be an invaluable asset in helping to steer the growth of Sedona.”
Darvall will be officially on board from July 14. She can be contacted via email firstname.lastname@example.org or mobile 0412 695 529.
