Walsh has led creative work across both corporate and consumer brands, spanning sport, technology, property and luxury, with clients including Formula One, UEFA, Amazon, Google, Nike, adidas, Burberry and Dior.
At onepointfive, Walsh will join the senior leadership team and work closely with founders, Rob Pryce and Joel Barsch, to shape the agency’s next chapter. He will also help drive the integration of emerging technologies to ensure the agency continues to deliver progressive brand experiences at the highest level. Having spent more than a decade working in the Middle East, Walsh brings extensive experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments and building creative teams capable of delivering world-class work at scale.
Simon Walsh stated, “From my first conversations with Rob and Joel, it was obvious that what they’ve built is incredibly special. There is a genuine belief in creative bravery, strong client relationships and building a culture where people are trusted to do their best work. After seven years in the Middle East, I’ve seen how this market constantly pushes you to think bigger. ‘World first’ and ‘never been done before’ aren’t ambitions here, they’re expectations. I’m excited to bring that mindset into the agency globally and help build something that can grow far beyond the region.”
Rob Pryce added,“Simon is one of those rare creative leaders who combines exceptional creative instincts with the ability to grow teams, cultures and businesses. He has played a key role in shaping one of the Middle East’s most respected agencies and has built an outstanding reputation in the process. Simon’s ambition, energy and global perspective make him a natural fit for onepointfive – he’ll play a pivotal role in shaping what comes next.”
Joel Barsch commented,“We’ve always believed great work comes from great relationships, both with clients and within the team. Simon immediately understood what we’re trying to build and where we want to take the business next. His experience, perspective and appetite for doing brave work make him the perfect person to help us connect our UK and Middle East operations and continue raising the bar.”
