This year, Skittles is delivering the rainbow, aka its Super Bowl commercial, as “in person” Super Bowl ad. The campaign is built around Skittles’ home delivery, GoPuff, and teams up with Lord of the Rings star, Elijah Wood. On Sunday, February 8, 2026, one lucky winner will receive a live Skittles commercial performed at their front door. Skittles fans can go to DeliverTheRainbow.com to unlock entry details now.
The idea, and Skittles’ delivery service, are being promoted by a typically mad Skittles commercial in which a teen gets a Skittles delivery by summoning a three-legged, one-horned woodland creature played by Wood. The creature delivers the Skittles but notes that “most teenagers order candy from an app”, before mentioning GoPuff and the commercial contest.
“SKITTLES has always delivered deliciously perplexing experiences to fans, but this year we are bringing the unexpected to fans on game day,” stated Gabrielle Wesley, chief marketing officer, Mars Snacking North America, in the campaign release. “Snack selection is nearly as important as the Big Game, so we’re excited to give fans a chance to summon Skittles, a live commercial, and yes, Elijah Wood too.”

The 15-second promotional spot is running across YouTube, connected TV and social channels. A 60-second versiondelves goes deeper into the creature’s predicament will run on owned and shared channels for Skittles, Gopuff and Elijah Wood.
