Smith & Western’s Creative Relay podcasts are back, kicking off with a double-bunger. The two latest podcasts highlight the exciting direction the advertising industry is taking.
In the first, Laura Jordan Bambach, president and chief creative officer of Grey London discusses changing face of advertising, and its role in the lives of consumers in an increasingly cluttered and chaotic world, with Google’s APA creative head, Tara Mckenty.
Following on from this episode, Mckenty invites the New Zealander creative star, Beth O’Brien, to talk about her latest role as head of innovation at The Monkeys. The conversation gives an insight into how technology is enabling creatives to connect brands with their audience in ever-imaginative ways.
Paul Dunne, host of the podcast, which is now in its 5th year, stated, “Looking back over the years we’ve been recording, it’s incredible to see how much has changed and how creative minds are now leading the way. At the same time, ideas are still the currency, and they are as invaluable as ever.”
Smith & Western Sound founder & co-owner, Dan Higson, added, “We started The Creative Relay to help inspire creative minds – Laura, Tara and Beth all deliver in spades. I challenge anyone to not be energised by what they have to say about where the future is heading.”
These and all the other episodes are now available on all popular podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts and for the first time on Spotify as well as at thecreativerelay.com.
