Some hip-hop music stars fade into history with age. Not Snoop Dogg. he has reinvented himself as a hip-hop ad star. Already this year, he is the face of Menulog in Australia, the ambassador for Corona beer in the US, and now an advocate for SodaStream and enjoying the small but important things in life this Christmas.
(Of course, when you have made as much money as Snoop, those small things are very grand.)

Snoop Dogg’s The Small Things is SodaStream’s largest global campaign to date.
The commercial puts a positive spin on the likelihood that most people with have to forego big plans and stay home this Christmas. It also delivers the brand’s environmental message – via an animated turtle and uses SodaStream’s classic light-hearted style to achieve both, minus the provocative aggression of earlier campaigns in which it pitted itself against soft drink brands and got itself into trouble for doing so.

“At SodaStream we always encourage people to make a positive change. This year we really went all in to deliver a campaign everyone can relate to, a campaign on what’s important,” commented SodaStream global chief marketing officer, Karin Schifter Maor. “SodaStream is the ultimate small change to reduce single-use plastic waste, and Snoop Dogg is a great partner to help widely spread this message in a fun way.”
“I love my SodaStream so it was natural for me to partner up with them for this campaign. They make a great product and a big difference in the world. I am happy to help spread the love!” said Snoop Dogg.

The campaign film was directed by comedy director, Jake Szymanski.
