Well, The Real Housewives turned out to be quite a phenomenon (although there are people who will be wondering why). Special, that has been borrowing the attention-grabbing power of celebrities for Uber Eats since 2019, has added Countess Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City to its collection of drawcards, for this year’s holiday season in the US.
De Lesseps performs a reimagined version of her 2010 hit, Money Can’t Buy You Class, in the commercial to remind people that Uber Eats can deliver gifts (with class) on time. The 60-second cabaret number was directed by Jake Honig and includes a handful of easter eggs for Real Housewives of New York fans, including an appearance from de Lesseps’ bestie, Sonja Morgan, the Be Cool licence plate, and sightings of de Lesseps’ Jovani jumpsuit, often worn during cabaret performances.
de Lesseps’ recommendations from the video are available from the Uber Eats app as “Gifts for Real Housewives,” “Gifts for Cabaret Queens,” “Gifts for Ultimate Girls Trips” etc. They include gems such as “Moet and Le Labo candles for your besties” and “gift cards for the girls you don know”.

The campaign follows Uber’s recent Good as Gold remake with the stars of Vanderpump Rules.
