What would you do for tickets to see your favourite music artist? Sell your hair? Sell your soul?

Spotify is heightening that “want” with an animated commercial for Reserved, its new service that rewards eligible Spotify Premium subscribers in the US (read: Spotify’s most ardent fans) with the chance to buy tickets before they open to the public.
The film, Great Lengths, directed by Jocelyn Charles through Paris animation specialist production company, Remembers, gets into viewer’s hearts with words of desire they’ve said and OTT things they’ve done for tickets. Underlining that desire is an original music score by sound studio, Citizen.
The backgrounds were hand-drawn using felt markers. The characters and movement were animated frame by frame on a computer.

Supporting the film is a series of OOH executions across the US – New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and Atlanta – inlcuding contextual placements near concert venues, transit advertising and train wraps, plus TV, online video and paid social.
The new campaign follows last year’s Fan Life, captured the wildest fan rituals for fans of Pitbull, Bad Bunny, Charli XCX, Lil Uzi Vert, Rezz, Sleep Token, and Megan Moroney.
