Japanese beer brand, Sapporo, has made itself the antithesis to rush – the rush of everyday life – in its new brand campaign, So Pour A Sapporo, by agency, Sunday Gravy.
“We’re all sprinting. Through deadlines. Through dinners. Through life. Through work. We double-speed podcasts, skip intros, skim texts. Even joy feels rushed,” agency Sunday Gravy noted.
“So Pour A Sapporo isn’t just a brand line, it’s an invitation to stop and appreciate craft, and connection from a brand born from a simpler time, steeped in Japanese culture and heritage.”

The hero commercial is a palpable experience of both rush and un-rush – tension and relief, thanks to some wonderful directing decisions by Collidar’s Dylan Duclos.
