Terminator. Huge twin. Calfornian governor. Time travelling lab rat. Mr Olympia six years in a row. Arnold Schwarzenegger is versatile. And he is going to be Zeus in BMW’s Super Bowl ad (according to the teaser).
The 40-second teaser and 60-second Super Bowl ad come from Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Rumour suggests that the final ad will also star Salma Hayek Pinault as Hera, which according to Greek mythology is the wife of Zeus (god of Thunder) and goddess of marriage. The commercial will run in the first quarter of the game. It is BMW’s first Super Bowl ad after a seven-year absence.
