Surreal is Dwayne Johnson’s favourite cereal!! That’s an awesome claim. The Rock is a fitness icon (and yes, I am sorry about the buzzword). How could a little UK brand afford The Rock? It couldn’t. And didn’t. The Dwayne Johnson that loves the cereal is a bus driver from London. Did you notice the asterisk?
The Michael Jordan who loves Surreal’s cereal? “*He is just a normal bloke who lives in St. Alban’s, but he does really like it.”
“The Serena Williams who eat Surreal’s cereal? “*She is a student from London and we paid her to eat it but the point still stands.”
Official cereal of Ronaldo? “*Probably not the one you’re thinking of.”

Surreal found people with the same names as fitness legends (it’s a “healthy cereal” brand) to review its cereal. Then is turned their responses into a campaign on Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok. Surreal cereal is known for having 12-13 grams of plant-based protein in every bowl, with zero sugar. It’s high fibre with a low carbohydrate count, vegan, gluten free and keto-friendly. And while the idea has been done before, Surreal made it an ongoing conversation. The brand has a wonderful sense of adveritsing humour.
We can’t afford famous celebrities, so we just found normal people with famous names and paid them to say nice things about our cereal.
Now we can use their names wherever we like and no one can stop us* pic.twitter.com/HkHTam1ZNL

OUR LAWYERS WROTE THESE ADS
They had some “feedback” about the last ones, so we figured we’d let them write the next ones.
As you can see, they’ve really nailed it. pic.twitter.com/pltAnUGSR2
