Red Bull has a mantra. And that urging voice is charge ahead. In countries like Vietnam, it’s also a national mantra for life and work. It’s not unusual for the Vietnamese to have two jobs during the day and pursue their passions at night.
Sweetshop director, Noah Conopask, and Y&R Indochina have turned this drive to conquer your physical limits into a powerful film for Red Bull about motivation and aspiring to greatness. About charging ahead.
Conopask’s montage of rich visuals is underlined by a poem in blank verse, the intensity of one perfectly matched to that of its partner. It’s the story of an everyday man, Pham, and his drive to pursue his dream, regardless of the exhaustion the day lays on his shoulders.
Conopask explained, “This film is all about charging ahead into your dreams. An inspiring story of a regular guy (Pham) overcoming his exhaustion and working day and night to make his vision come true. The concept richly portrayed with layers of visceral emotion. Human struggle captured with a gritty realism.”
