Valentine’s Day is coming up and men are being confronted by a once-a-year version of that relentless question, “What does she want?” While there is little doubt that many will take the road most travelled, roses and chocolates, e-commerce lingerie brand, Adore Me, is showing that it has a better understanding of women – by actually listening to them.
Its campaign by agency, Tank New York, is based on women’s answers to the question posted on Reddit, “What do you really want for Valentine’s Day?”
Those answers include, Drink champagne out of the bottle and bang a few times, My student loans paid off, Several bottles of wine…and a good attorney, and, To be dominated.
The film will air on social channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat and will on TV in both 15- and 30-second versions, supported by a new visual identity and website.
Morgan Hermand-Waiche, the chief executive officer and founder of Adore Me, stated, “No matter who you are, or who you dream of being, we’re just here to support you. We’re committed to never telling you how to act – and all the messy, honest parts of yourself are what make you human. We’re here for it. All of it.”
