In Apple TV+’s new promo by TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Apple TV+ is enticing users with its line-up of…well, everyone. Everyone except Jon Hamm. And Jon Hamm is not happy that he is the only actor not to have a show on the service. Humorously, not happy about that.
So he sends Apple a Voicemail. “Hey Apple, did I do something to offend you? I mean Samuel L. Jackson, Billie Eilish, Tom Holland, Chris Evans? What about Jon Hamm,” he begins? Hamm scrolls through all the shows on the platform and Apple’s audience hangs off every plug. Because the story is so funny. Jon Hamm really IS the only actor not to have a show on Apple TV+ and his response is so human. Wait for the end of the 60-second spot. There’s another very relatable gift for the promo’s audience:
Will Jon Hamm finally get his Apple TV+ debut? I guess people will have to join Apple TV+ to find out. The campaign is running on broadcast TV in the US, plus social and digital.
