Chocolate is sexy. It’s considered to be an aphrodisiac. Ginger is sexy. It’s considered to be an aphrodisiac. Imagine what might happen when you put the two together.
It might help to rekindle the spark for couples who have been together for a while. (You know what happens there.)
Le chocolat des Français has put chocolate and ginger together in limited release on February 14. TBWA\Paris has added some suggestive visuals to help the sexual magic. And it all comes together in a fun Valentine’s Day campaign.
The campaign features five colourful visuals of couples who have fallen into a routine. Each was created by a different illustrator. In the middle of the visual is a call for couples to spice up their Valentine’s Day evening presenting as an optical illusion combining everyday elements and sexual ambiguity.

“On valentine’s day, it is common to see campaigns that talk about love with a lot of good feelings but a rather mawkish edge. We wanted to do something very French, more focused on passion and desire, while remaining funny and aesthetic, in the DNA of our brand,” stated Paul-Henri Masson, co-founder of le chocolat des Français.
The chocolate bars are available on the chocolat des Français website and in its boutique at 39 avenue de l’Opéra in Paris.
