Melbourne brand and design consultancy, The Edison Agency, is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the best way possible, with a new business win. The agency has been appointed to Nestlé Oceania’s strategic packaging design while its strategic and creative work for The Arnott’s Group continues to grow too.
The agency has added four new hires to its Sydney office to meet the expanded volume of work. The creative team will be headed by FMCG legend, Pedro Merida, as design director with senior designer, Roisin Quinn.
Niki Beeston joins as senior account director and Phoebe Di Nallo as account manager, adding to a team led by group account director, Steve Wren.
Amber Bonney, founder and managing director of The Edison Group, stated, “While remote working has become the norm, the opportunity for a local team supplying Edison’s unique strategy and human-centred design approach is something we’re so proud to offer Nestlé and The Arnott’s Group.”
A new Sydney space will soon be announced, and the exhilaration of the 10-year milestone is also marked by three new product launches:
- 1094 – A creative incubation hub with disruption at its core belief, creating space for cross-category collaborators to come together to perform agile creative sprints and disruptive outcomes.
- Glow – A trends, insights and research division designed to facilitate innovation and inspiration amongst client brand and product teams.
- Design for Good – Edison’s purpose-led initiative to secure a better future by striving to achieve a balance between profit, people and planet.
The Edison Agency also won 1 x Gold and 2 x Silver awards in the 2021 Sydney Design Awards for its work across The Arnott’s Group Corporate Identity design (Gold), Teevee Snacks Brand re-design (Silver), and FORWARD agency brand redesign (Silver).
